How Does ADT MySafety Work?

Here’s what you can do with MySafety:

• Start a safety timer. You know your walk takes around 20 minutes. You can start a timer in the app, and if you don’t shut it off before it expires, ADT will try to contact you. If you don’t respond, emergency services will be notified and given your GPS location.

• Request a text or call. You can inconspicuously ask for a call or begin a text conversation with a touch of your finger. A monitoring agent will contact you immediately. If you don’t respond, ADT will request help.

• Create an emergency phrase. There may be moments where you can’t access your phone, but have it with you. In this case, you can verbalize a custom, predetermined phrase that will trigger an SOS to ADT, giving monitoring agents your location.

ADT’s classic blue yard sign just received a serious update. The sign is now a more integrated, active feature as it illuminates whenever the alarm goes off. Introduced as ADT Live Light, this new feature helps beckon emergency personnel during times when every second matters.
